Services
Lake Union Movers LLC ("we," "us") provides residential and commercial moving services, packing, and storage in Washington State and across our authorized interstate routes. Specific scope, pricing, and terms for each move are set out in your written estimate and signed bill of lading.
Estimates and pricing
Quotes provided online, by phone, or by email are good-faith estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing is confirmed in your written estimate before the job begins. For full details on how moving pricing works in Washington, see our pricing page.
Cancellation
You may cancel or reschedule a booked move at any time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time may be subject to a fee equal to the two-hour minimum to cover crew scheduling. Long-distance bookings with a deposit may have separate cancellation terms set out in writing at the time of booking.
Liability and claims
We carry full cargo and liability insurance and assume responsibility for items in our care, custody, and control during the move. Standard valuation and any optional full-value protection are described in your bill of lading. Claims must be reported within nine months of delivery in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
Items we don't transport
Hazardous materials (propane, fuel, ammunition, paint, pool chemicals), perishables, and certain plants and pets cannot be transported. Please remove these items before the crew arrives.
Website use
This website is provided "as is" for informational purposes. We may update content, pricing references, and policies at any time. Submitting the quote form does not create a binding contract — a contract is formed only when you accept a written estimate.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute arising out of or relating to our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
